There are a few different ways that your load will be protected in the truck. The first is through blankets. The blankets wrap around your belongings and prevent them from moving around too much. This helps to keep them safe from bumps and bruises. Secondly, specialized wrapping and packing can be used. This includes using bubble wrap or styrofoam peanuts to fill in any empty spaces. This ensures that there are no weak spots in the load that could cause damage. Finally, strapping down the load is important. This prevents it from shifting during transit and keeps it more secure. All of these methods work together to ensure that your belongings arrive at their destination safely and soundly!

You will receive your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and date for your move approximately 3 days before the move. The ETA is the date that we anticipate your belongings will arrive at your new home. The day and time of your actual move may vary depending on a number of factors, but we will do our best to give you as much notice as possible so that you can plan accordingly.

I've used Around About Removals quite a few times over the years, since the very beginning when Jacques started the business with only his bakkie and a covered trailer.

I have always received efficient, friendly, and reliable service. The team works well and handles everything with care, which is why I’ve kept coming back.

However, during my most recent move, there was one issue that left me feeling a bit uncomfortable and that I feel is necessary to bring under the attention of the company's management. Before starting to load the furniture, the team leader straight-up told me to buy the 4 of them a "30-piece" when they are done – presumably a large KFC meal – as a reward for their work. While I always give either a cash tip, or refreshments like cooldrinks and snacks as a gesture of appreciation, and out of my own free will, being directly asked for quite an expensive meal before starting the job felt rather inappropriate and quite honestly like a threat. It seemed like he wanted to see my response before deciding on the quality of work they were willing to do.

That said, the move was handled well in the end, and I do appreciate the team’s effort. I just hope this kind of request doesn’t become a regular expectation by team members, as it puts customers in an awkward position.

Otherwise, a great company that I’ve had consistently good experiences with.
